The fold feature here is very unique. The Volo has an easy and fast folding mechanism with handy carry strap. First, unlock the canopy and compress it. Than locate the release on the bottom and pull it up and it will fold forward and lock into place and you have a very compact stroller. Also has a carrying strap to through over your shoulder. It comes standard with a rain canopy and a hood.



This stroller comes out of the box ready to go and it is very unique. This is the model my husband and I use when we are looking for quick trips out to the grocery store and need a good stroller that does not take up all the space. It has great premium fabrics, nice canopy that goes with it and a little pocket and pouch in the back for keys, cell phones and other mom and dad essentials.

Maclaren Volo - Top of the Line Stroller

Maclaren Volo is one of the Maclaren’s best strollers. Normally I wouldn’t recommend using an umbrella stroller as a travel system but the Maclaren Volo is one of my exceptions. Weighing in around 8 pounds it is a lightweight stroller which as a fabulous umbrella folds. The seat is very roomy for your growing child. It has a great 5 point harness that is adjustable for larger children and smaller children. There’s a buckle that’s easy for mom to do but actually a little hard for the child trying to get out. And it is adjustable in several different heights.

The roomy seat has a recliner that is easy to do with a strap system. The Maclaren Volo has a great canopy that shades your child and has a great large picaboo window on the back. And I just love the ergonomic handles on the back that are higher from the most umbrella strollers and even taller moms and dads not to kick the frame if they have a longer stride.

There’s planty of storage on this umbrella stroller. Theirs is a large pocket for mom’s essentials on the back of the canopy as well as a large basket for an umbrella stroller. It is easily accessible. If you recline the seat all the way it may be hard to get in and out of but it is still a fabulous basket for an umbrella stroller.

The Maclaren Volo has a great maneuverability. It is very easy to turn even one handed when a three year old in it you can still turn it without any problems. This umbrella stroller with a full size features is very easy to fold (folding dimensions 41 inches by 19 inches). It folds down flat in a matter of seconds and an automatic lock on the side locks it in place. And it features a great carry handle. It weighs only around 8 pounds so it is easy to travel with it and no problem to carry. Unfolding this stroller is also very easy to do. Just unlock the automatic lock and you are ready to go.

This lightweight stroller has the centre of gravity so that it is very sturdy so that you can even hang things on the handle. You can take a medium size diaper bag, hang it on the handles and even empty it has no chance of tipping backwards. Of course, you can’t hang a tone of stuff but it is a great feature.



A great accessory that comes with the Volo is the rain guard that actually zips to the canopy. It is very large and completely protects your child all the way down to their feet from the rain elements. Transporting this baby stroller is so easy to do. It folds very quickly and takes no room in your car. And this is great. I absolutely love the Volo for being lightweight and having the full sized features. If I had one tiny complaint is the price. It is also good to know that it has a weight limit of around 40 pounds which is a very large child.



Overall, this stroller is sturdy, has great maneuverability, a fabulous basket, great 5 point harness and I give it five stars.

Maclaren Volo - Cares for Your Children

Maclaren Volo is the newest addition in the Maclaren line of strollers. It has some fabulous features. Let’s start with the seat. The seat has weight capacity of around 40 pounds. It is a large seat; it has a seatback of around 20 inches. And the canopy gives you around 24 inches from seat bottom all the way to the top. So, even your taller children can fit in it. Also, it has padded 5 point harness for safety. It has an adjustable foot rest that has two positions – up and down, depending on how your child likes it best. There is the reclining seat. It reclines almost flat back – not quite flat but great for a lightweight stroller. Also, there’s a great basket beneath. I would say it is a large basket for a lightweight stroller. You can even fit a medium sized diaper bag in it. But you will not be able to access it easily from the back especially with the seat reclined but it’s very easy to access it from the side. You can fit the bag plus there is still room for some baby essentials. So, if you have a diaper bag it’s going to fit in there great but if you put in something heavy at the bottom it stretches a bit so it is going to hang on the floor and actually scrape the bottom as you are riding along. So, you might want to make sure that the content is evened out. Maclaren Volo Stroller is exactly what the new parents selected.

Another great feature is that it has telescope handles for parents of different heights. There are several positions. This is great for taller parents so they don’t kick the back of the stroller with the long stride. The canopy on this seat is fabulous. It completely covers your child and there’s an extra pop-out sun visor plus it folds all the way down in front of your child to completely block them from the elements and the sun which is great. It has a picaboo window. Also, it has a pocket on the back that allows you to store your cell phone, keys or any other little mom essentials. It is very popular and considered one of the best lightweight umbrella strollers in the market today.



Maclaren Volo has great wheels. It features a rear one touch lock that locks both wheels at the same time. And the front wheels have an ability to lock straight for a little bit rougher terrain. All you have to do is pull up the lever and that locks them. And you have to do that each one individually which is no problem. And that allows you to go over rough terrains. The four wheel suspension and lightweight frame gives it great maneuverability. You can even turn it one handed plus you will be able to do it over rocks and grass with not too much trouble. It is not an all terrain stroller but it will not give you too much problems.



So, the Maclaren Volo is essential outdoor item all moms love. It handles great and provides a smooth ride both for mom and dad and the child. This baby stroller is favored among many young moms and dads for its ease of use, durability, and because of its stellar safety record.
